    Description

    Nice 60+ year-old official BSA felt campaign hat with wooden brim/hat press.  Tough to date exactly as the seal on the inside is not present, but the hat press had a decal from when the BSA National Headquarters was in New York City, and they moved to New Jersey in 1954, so this hat is prior to that date.  Metal rivet chin-strap and vents, leather chin-strap and metal bead, and silk hatband.  Unmarked as to size, but measures to a size 7.  The hat is very stiff, but does need a good cleaning as it is dusty and has some very slight stainage.  The hat or brim press (scarce in its own right) has a few dings and the loop at the top has been broken off.  Both items in good (press) to great (hat) used shape.  But, please refer to the images for the actual condition however.   Buyer to pay .95 shipping and handling (plus any desired insurance) if in the US and 9.95 if outside the US.  Sorry it is so much, but it takes a big box to ship this thing and the USPS charges dearly for big boxes.  Reduced shipping and handling for additional purchases shipped on the same day.  Please contact me with any questions?
