Description
Signed lower right, "Ryonosuke Fukui" (Japanese, 1923-1986), a listed artist, and created circa 1965.Hand signed in pencil as well as "E P A" for an artist's proof, hand-colored Woodblock Woodcuts or etching comprising superimposed, stylized plants and buildings creating a lasting impression!
Fukui attended the University of Fine Arts in Tokyo and subsequently exhibited internationally with success. From 1962, he exhibited at the International Biennial of Printmaking in Tokyo and the Ljubljana Bienniale (1963, 1965). Reference: E. All of our items are being sold in the condition we found them, with minor flaws because they are either a semi-Antique or Antique and may need slight restoration to bring them back to showroom condition. We sell everything bought from estates directly to you. We do not restore anything. We reiterate that each item we sell is used, and by definition has various blemishes.
